2. Fragments of the minarets that fell down during the annual 'wind-of-40-days-and-nights' that Herat experiences. No sign of reconstruction any time soon...
3. Inside of Herat's famous Friday mosque. Stunningly beautiful. Colours don't come out very well. Think a deep turquoise blue instead.
